How it works
Poster on the wall, ticket in your pocket, call on screen
Walk-in queue scene: a QR poster at the entrance, a phone showing ticket A-104 with fewer people ahead, and a screen calling A-104 to counter 2. The pictured QR code is decorative and does not work
The QR code at the entrance opens the queue

Walk-ins among the queue types
Walk-ins are one of Kyuko’s queue types. Everyone scanning the queue QR code receives a number in arrival order. Available on every plan, including Free.
Combine walk-ins with time booking: booked visitors who check in with “I am here” join ahead of walk-ins. If booking uses the service-with-a-specialist mode, walk-ins also choose services and a specialist. See Specialist booking.
How visitors join
- 1
Scan the QR code
On a poster at the entrance or a screen in the waiting area. The queue opens in the browser, without login, registration or an app.
- 2
View the queue
The page shows the location and queue names, people waiting and estimated waiting time if enabled. A banner indicates when the queue is paused or closed.
- 3
Join the queue
Tap “Join the queue”. If the business enables a form, first fill it in and agree to the service rules.
- 4
Get a number
Your phone shows a number, such as A-017, and “5 people ahead of you”. The page updates live.
- 5
Wait anywhere
Step away: one notification arrives when a few people remain ahead, another when called. The ticket shows “Your turn” and where to go; your number also appears on the screen.
Static and dynamic QR codes
Each queue has its own permanent address, reached via its QR code. Managers choose printed or on-screen QR mode separately for each queue.
| Property | Printed | On screen |
|---|---|---|
| Where to show it | Poster or sticker | TV, monitor or tablet in the waiting area |
| How it changes | Unchanging and always valid | The link code changes every 1–10 minutes; default: every 2 minutes |
| Getting a ticket from a photo | A photo also works | A photo or forwarded link remains valid for one to two code periods |
| Plans | All plans | Business and Network |
Dynamic QR limits remote joining from photos or forwarded links: tickets require a current on-screen code. It is not a complete guarantee: a photo works for one to two periods, up to 4 minutes with a 2-minute period. Managers can reissue the code at any time, invalidating old codes and photos immediately.
Note. A printed QR code does not issue tickets for a dynamic queue; visitors must scan the screen. You therefore need a waiting-area screen.
What visitors see on a ticket
- Number
- A queue prefix of 1–4 letters or digits followed by at least three digits, such as A-017. The business chooses each queue’s prefix.
- Ahead of you
- “You are next” or “5 people ahead of you”. It counts people ahead in queue order, rather than subtracting one from the ticket number.
- Estimated time
- “About 10–15 min”: an estimate that changes with the queue. Businesses can hide it.
- Updates
- The page updates live without reloading.
- Leaving the queue
- Use “Leave the queue”. You can return to your place until the queue reaches your number.
- Browser connection
- Scanning again shows the same number. One browser can hold only one active ticket per queue.
- Validity
- Tickets are valid only on the issue date. Remaining tickets close at the end of the day.
How visitors know it is their turn
The notification section below the ticket offers alerts when the turn approaches and when called, even with the page closed. Browser and Telegram channels are independent: enable either or both.
- In the browser
- Tap “Enable notifications” and grant browser permission. No separate app is needed.
- In Telegram
- “Notify in Telegram” opens the Kyuko bot. Tap Start to receive a ticket message with an “Open ticket” button. Disable alerts in the chat or on the ticket page.
- “Your turn is coming”: sent once per ticket when a few people remain ahead. Managers set the threshold from 1 to 10; default: 2.
- “Your turn”: includes the service point. Repeated calls send another notification.
- Queue status: temporarily paused, closed for today or running again.
- Once a ticket closes, its notifications stop and the Telegram chat disconnects from it.
- An open page also plays a sound and vibrates. Sound starts after the first tap; there is no vibration on iPhone.
Note. On iPhone, website notifications require adding the site to the home screen. Safari therefore offers Telegram first; “Notify without Telegram” explains Share → Add to Home Screen. Without alerts enabled, the ticket still updates and an open page plays the call sound.
Feedback after the visit
When the operator taps Done, the ticket offers a rating from 1 to 5 stars and an optional comment. Only owners and managers see feedback; collection can be disabled in queue settings. See Visitor feedback.
Visitor form
By default, visitors enter no name or contact details and need no account. Managers can enable a form on Business and Network if data is needed.
- The organisation sets up fields once in the Client fields list; each queue form picks up to 10 of them. Each field may be required or optional.
- Types: first name, surname, patronymic, phone, email, single- or multi-line text, number, date, single- or multiple-choice list, checkbox.
- On the same device the form remembers answers to fields the business keeps in client records: “Remember my details on this device” is ticked by default, and “Forget saved” erases them.
- Before receiving a ticket, visitors accept the service rules through an automatically added consent checkbox.
- Staff see answers on the calling board; owners and managers also see them in the statistics CSV export. They are absent from tickets, screens and notifications.
- Answers are automatically deleted after 30 days. Ticket number, times and status remain in statistics. Selected fields can also be kept in client records. See the Privacy policy.
What to know
- The queue interface is in Ukrainian.
- Calls are notified in the browser or Telegram, not by SMS or email.
- Up to 10 tickets per minute can be issued from one network to a queue to limit automated attempts.
- Operators cannot cancel or reorder tickets. The queue sets the order; operators mark absentees as No-show. Only the visitor can cancel their ticket.
- Waiting time is an estimate that changes with the queue, not a promised time.
Frequently asked questions
Do visitors need an app?
No. Visitors scan the QR code and open the queue in their phone browser. Notifications arrive in the browser or Telegram if connected.
How do static and dynamic QR differ?
Static QR is printed and does not change; a photo also works. Dynamic QR appears on a screen and changes every 1–10 minutes to limit remote joining. It is on Business and Network. See Pricing.
What if visitors close the page?
Their place stays: the ticket is linked to the browser. Reopen the page in the same browser or scan again to see the same number.
Do notifications work on iPhone?
Yes. Telegram is the easiest option: the bot sends to the Telegram app, so the browser tab can close. Website notifications require adding the site via Share → Add to Home Screen.
How can someone without a smartphone join?
An operator adds a ticket manually. It has no browser connection or notifications. The person is called by voice or by number on the screen.
Can I hide the waiting time?
Yes. Disable “Show estimated waiting time to visitors”, enabled by default on every plan. Visitors then see only the count ahead. Estimates still feed into queue analytics.
What about booked visitors?
They check in with “I am here” and join ahead of walk-ins. See Time booking.
Can walk-ins choose a specialist?
Yes, when walk-ins and bookings use the service-with-a-specialist mode. Before joining, visitors choose services and a specialist or “any available”. The count ahead includes only visitors waiting for that specialist. Available on «Business» and «Network»; see Specialist booking.
